The end has been coming for ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) theoldvicarage for a while now. I ran out of steam with icon making and, to be honest, I felt like I needed a fresh start. A new journal was in order. You know, I've never had an icon journal this long. I'm proud of myself for keeping it up. And I've had lots of fun making the icons I've posted and getting to know some of you through them. Hopefully that'll continue over at thornfield

This week's challenge over at icon_crack gave me a snazzy idea - to remake some of my icons. So, going with the classic movie star theme, you're quite willing to go over my posts here at theoldvicarage or over at starleticons_ and choose an icon/some icons for me to remake. Please choose ones made from photographs as opposed to screencaps because it's pretty unlikely that I still have that same screencap and I don't feel like going through and making one of the exact same frame because it would be rather time consuming - I'm sure you understand. Anyway, I think it'll be rather fun and a good excuse for me to make lots of icons. And yes, I am still working on those requests from earlier, as well as doing other things of my own.

1. I know a lot of you are history buffs so I thought that you may be semi-interested in a journal I have set up to house book reviews, photographs, art, anecdotes, whatever, relating to the world before 1918. It's all very new but I'm terribly excited. So - ladyaudley
2. Comment to this post with pictures, not galleries, of your favourite classic movie stars (classic being anyone who was at the peak of their career before the end of the 1960s) and I will icon them. You can post as many as you like and I can't promise that I'll icon all of them but I will give it a shot. Lesser known people are appreciated but I can cope with the Audreys and the Marilyns. So give me your pictures!

This is such a bits-and-bats sort of icon post. I really have no idea what's in here. Also, I'm sorry if I didn't do your request this time but I'll try do them all soon. I just felt like posting because I had a good sort of number to post with. And I'm bored. And I need another icon post before I get to the big one oh oh. Also, style-wise, these icons are pretty... simple but messy. Fun fun fun!

I don't know what to make icons of so I thought I'd ask for your help.
Link me to some images, as many as you like, and I'll try to make icons of them. They'll be in the style I want to make them in and they'll all be completely and utterly shareable. I might not make them all, I'll see what works. Try to choose images of high quality because that will make me happy. And please only link me to clean images. I'm not going to icon anything objectionable anyway so.. *shrugs* there's little point in linking me to them. You can choose anything. Any fandom, anything. I'd really like screencaps rather than photographs because I find them more interesting but I will icon any type of image.
Yeah, I think that's it =P
ETA: I'd really appreciate it if you could just link to images and not galleries. And pleeaaase don't be really vague because I'm in a lazy sort of mood and hunting for pictures really isn't what I want to do. If you are vague, I'm most likely not going to fulfill your request.
